High street fashion retailer H&M saw its clothes hangers fly off the rails on the launch day of garments designed by Lanvin.
Clothes created by the French fashion designer sold out rapidly, with some fashionistas queuing all night to get their hands on the clothes.
The designer range went on sale at 9am yesterday (November 23rd) and officials from the fashion retailer confirmed that their stock had largely sold out by the afternoon.
Chloe Bowers, H&M's UK spokeswoman, said that the company was very pleased with the customer response to Lanvin's designs.
She told Herald Scotland: "We are absolutely thrilled with the response from our customers.
"This fantastic collection of stand-out pieces has been a very exciting collaboration to work on."
Jeanne Lanvin entered the fashion world after the clothes he made for his daughter attracted the attention of wealthy people, who requested him to make copies of the garments for their own children.
