A4 leaflet holders are display dispensers for the 210x297mm A4 format: the standard size for corporate brochures, catalogues, technical data sheets, and information packs. High-impact acrylic and crystal styrene construction. Single-pocket countertop units, multi-pocket wall-mounted tiers, and freestanding floor stands including the double-sided six-tier Zig-Zag stand. Outdoor versions with self-closing lids for weatherproof exterior display. Pocket lip covers 40 to 60mm from the bottom of the insert on countertop units; 60 to 80mm on floor stands. Minimum 100gsm recommended. Standard indoor acrylic is not suitable for outdoor positions.

How to Choose

What paper weight works in A4 leaflet holders?
Minimum 100gsm for upright presentation. Standard 80gsm office paper is too light and flops in the pocket rather than standing. At 100 to 120gsm, A4 documents stand cleanly. Very thick documents above 15mm spine thickness may not fit standard A4 pockets: check the pocket depth specification on the individual product before ordering for thick catalogue display.
How does the Zig-Zag brochure stand work?
Six A4 pocket tiers in alternating forward and backward angles: three tiers facing front, three facing back. The zig-zag angle keeps each tier's pocket face visible without the tier above obscuring it. The stand folds flat by pressing the tiers together and fits in the included carry bag for transport. Assembly is tool-free in under 2 minutes, making it the standard for exhibition stands and showrooms where floor space is charged by the square metre.
What is the pocket lip and how does it affect my design?
The pocket lip covers the lower portion of the insert. On countertop A4 holders it covers approximately 40 to 60mm from the bottom of the 297mm page; on freestanding floor stands 60 to 80mm. Keep all critical content, contact details, and calls to action above this depth. Position the primary cover image and headline in the top 60 to 70% of the A4 page for the full impact area to be visible above any holder's pocket lip.
Can standard indoor A4 holders be used outdoors?
No. Standard acrylic is not weatherproof or UV-stabilised: rain damage and UV yellowing will occur in outdoor positions. Specify outdoor A4 holders with UV-stabilised housing and self-closing lids for any exterior position. These are designed for permanent outdoor wall mounting and withstand rain, UV, and temperature cycling in UK conditions.

Where is the most effective position for an A4 leaflet holder?
Where visitors are stationary with dwell time: reception desks, waiting rooms, and exhibition stand browsing positions. Moving-traffic corridor positions are largely ineffective. Wall-mount at approximately 1.5m to pocket top for standing visitors; 1m for seated waiting room positions.
Can I clean acrylic A4 holders without scratching them?
Soft damp cloth with mild soap solution. Do not use abrasive cloths (micro-scratch surface), acetone or solvent cleaners (permanent clouding), or ammonia-based glass cleaners. Purpose-made acrylic cleaning solution for stubborn marks and adhesive residue.
