A0 snap frames hold standard A0 paper (841x1189mm) — the largest standard ISO paper size, double the area of A1. 32mm aluminium profile is standard at this size for maximum grip strength on the longer frame sides. 1.5mm styrene back panel prevents the large poster from bowing or sagging. UV anti-glare PVC cover sheet included. Portrait or landscape mounting. Two people required for level wall installation. Silver and black in stock; additional colours available.
At 841x1189mm, A0 is the largest standard paper size available for wall-mounted poster display — used for shopping centre maps and wayfinding, department store window promotions, cinema foyer poster boards, and any position where A1 is too small to create the visual impact needed from the viewing distance.

Front-Loading Without Removing from Wall
All four spring-loaded edges open by hand to release the UV cover sheet and allow the poster to be changed from the front without removing the frame from the wall. At A0 scale, two people are required — one to hold the frame edges open and the cover sheet clear while the other inserts the new 841x1189mm poster without creasing it.
32mm Profile for Maximum Large-Format Grip
The 32mm profile is standard at A0 — it is not optional at this size. The wider profile provides the grip strength needed across 841mm and 1189mm frame sides to hold the large, heavy poster and PVC cover sheet securely without edge lifting or bowing over time. Budget A0 frames with 25mm profiles often fail to hold the poster flat at this scale.
1.5mm Styrene Back Panel Prevents Poster Sag
An A0 poster without rigid backing sags visibly under its own weight across the 1189mm height. Our A0 frames include a 1.5mm styrene back panel — thicker than the back panels used in A1 frames — providing the rigidity needed to keep the full 841x1189mm poster flat and taut against the PVC cover sheet throughout the display period.
UV Anti-Glare Cover for Distance Visibility
A0 displays are typically viewed from greater distances than A1 and A2 frames. The UV anti-glare PVC cover sheet eliminates the reflections from overhead lighting that reduce legibility at distance, and prevents sun fading that degrades large-format graphics in window-facing and atrium positions where A0 frames are most commonly installed.
Portrait and Landscape at A0
A0 snap frames mount in portrait (tall) or landscape (wide) orientation. The pre-drilled fixing holes are hidden beneath the profile and revealed when the edges are opened. At A0 scale, two people are required for level wall installation to handle the frame's size and weight during marking and fixing. Wall plugs and screws supplied.

When Do You Need A0 Instead of A1?
Maximum Impact for Lobbies, Cinemas and Forecourts
Choose A0 when A1 is not large enough to create the visual impact needed from the viewer's typical distance. A0 is the standard for shopping centre and airport wayfinding maps, department store atrium displays, cinema foyer poster boards, and large entrance lobby promotions where the content must be readable from 5 to 10 metres. For standard retail wall display and health and safety boards, A1 is typically sufficient.
For Shopping Centres, Airports and Atriums
Our A0 silver snap frame is used for wayfinding maps, floor plans, and venue information in shopping centres, airports, and large public buildings where the information needs to be legible to visitors standing several metres away. A1 maps at this scale are frequently too small to read without approaching the frame closely.
