This is the decision customers most often get wrong, and it is the one that is hardest to undo once a pallet is on the pavement.

Measure the route, not just the room

A 1000mm cabinet fits the space it is going in. Whether it gets there depends on the front door, the hallway turn, the stairwell and the lift. Measure the narrowest point on the route and the tightest turn, not the wall it will end up against. Where access is restricted, flat-pack is the only realistic option.

Pre-assembled saves time, not money

Pre-assembled cabinets arrive on a pallet, ready to position, which suits retail fit-outs working to a deadline and sites with loading access. They need somewhere for the pallet to land and someone to receive it, so check delivery access before choosing this route for a residential address.

Handle the glass once

Tempered glass is strong across its face and vulnerable at the edges and corners. Most damage to a flat-pack cabinet happens during handling rather than in use, so unpack on a soft surface, keep panels vertical, and fit the frame before loading shelves.
