Display cabinets, oversized furniture and pallet shipments need a bit more coordination. Here's what to expect.

What counts as heavy goods

Display cabinets, large furniture, oversized signage, and any item requiring pallet delivery. All heavy goods ship free to Zone 1 on the standard service.

What happens next

Standard heavy goods delivery is 3 to 5 working days. After dispatch, our delivery partner calls within 48 hours to book a slot. Please add a contact number at checkout so we can reach you.

Access matters

Narrow roads, small doorways, or stairs involved? Flag it when you order. Unreported access issues that cause failed deliveries may incur a cancellation fee.

Arrange Your Own Courier

We don't deliver to Europe or the rest of the world directly, but you can arrange your own courier to collect from our warehouse in Bishop's Stortford. Email help@displaysense.co.uk with the items and quantities you need, and we'll send dimensions and weights for your courier to quote against.

Delivery FAQs

Common delivery questions, answered in plain English.

What if I'm not in when delivery arrives?
For standard courier deliveries, if you're not in, the courier will leave a card with instructions to rebook or collect from a local depot. For heavy goods, our delivery partner books a slot with you in advance so you know exactly when to expect us.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Once dispatched, we email you a tracking link. You can follow your order from our warehouse to your door. If you haven't received a tracking email within 24 hours of dispatch, check your spam folder or email help@displaysense.co.uk.
What counts as a working day?
Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays. Orders placed before 4pm on a working day are processed that same day. Weekend orders start processing the following Monday.
Do you deliver to construction sites or temporary addresses?
Yes, but please add a contact number at checkout and include site access instructions in the order notes. For heavy goods, our delivery partner will call ahead to confirm access.
What happens if my order arrives damaged?
Inspect your delivery when it arrives. If anything is damaged, sign for it as "damaged" with the courier and email help@displaysense.co.uk with photos within 48 hours. We'll sort a replacement or refund right away.
Can I change the delivery address after ordering?
If the order hasn't been dispatched yet, yes. Call us on 01279 460 460 as soon as possible. Once the order is with the courier, address changes aren't always possible but we'll do our best.
Do I need to sign for delivery?
Most standard deliveries require a signature. Heavy goods deliveries always require a signature, plus we ask you to check the items in the driver's presence before signing. If nobody is available to sign, the courier will leave a card.
What if the courier can't access my address?
For heavy goods, failed deliveries due to unreported access issues (narrow roads, low bridges, no parking) may incur a cancellation fee. Please flag any access concerns in your order notes so we can plan ahead.
Do you deliver to PO Boxes?
No. Our courier services require a physical address for delivery. If you only have a PO Box, please contact us on 01279 460 460 and we'll work out an alternative.
How do I return an item?
We accept returns within 28 days. See our returns page for full details, or contact the team on 01279 460 460 to start a return.
