1. Snap Frames & Wall Posters
Shop Snap Frames Collection →How does a Snap Frame work?
It uses a spring-loaded hinge system.
The four edges of the frame "snap" open by hand. You place your poster inside, cover it with the included UV-protective PVC sheet, and snap the edges shut. This allows you to change posters in under 30 seconds without removing the frame from the wall.
Are Snap Frames waterproof?
Standard frames are water-resistant, but not waterproof.
While the PVC cover protects against splashes, heavy rain can wick into the edges. For outdoor use, we recommend our dedicated Lockable & Weatherproof Poster Cases which feature rubber seals, or using waterproof synthetic paper for your posters.
What is the difference between 25mm and 32mm profiles?
This refers to the width of the frame border.
- 25mm: The standard profile for A4, A3, and A2 sizes. Sleek and unobtrusive.
- 32mm: A wider, bolder profile recommended for larger A1 and A0 frames to provide extra grip strength for larger posters.
Can I prevent people tampering with the poster?
Yes, use a Lockable or Tamper-Resistant frame.
We stock Lockable Snap Frames (which require a specific Allen key to open) and Lockable Poster Cases (with a hinged door and key lock). These are essential for public areas like toilets, lifts, or unmonitored corridors.
How do I fix the frame to the wall?
Screws are best, but adhesive tape works too.
All our frames come with pre-drilled holes hidden under the snap profile and include screw fixings. For lighter frames (A4/A3) on smooth surfaces like glass or tiles, you can use strong double-sided foam tape.
Are replacement covers available?
Yes, we stock spare PVC covers.
Over time, direct sunlight or vandalism may damage the clear cover sheet. We supply replacements for all standard ISO sizes so you don't need to replace the entire frame.
Can they be mounted landscape?
Yes, absolutely.
Because the fixing holes are located in the corners under the frame profile, you can rotate the frame 90 degrees to mount it in either portrait or landscape orientation to suit your poster.
2. Menu Holders & Counter Signs
Shop Menu Holders Collection →Why use Acrylic vs. PVC?
Clarity and rigidity.
Cheap PVC holders can look cloudy and bend over time. Displaysense holders are made from High-Impact Acrylic (Perspex style). This offers glass-like clarity, diamond-polished edges for a premium finish, and rigidity that stands upright even in warm environments.
What is the difference between Single and Double Sided?
Angled (L-Shape) vs. Upright (T-Shape).
- Single Sided (Angled): Leans back slightly for easy reading from above. Ideal for low counters or display cabinets.
- Double Sided (Upright): Vertical stand visible from both sides. Essential for restaurant tables to display drinks menus on one side and desserts on the other.
Are they easy to clean?
Yes, but avoid harsh solvents.
Acrylic should be cleaned with warm soapy water and a soft microfibre cloth. Avoid scouring pads (which scratch the surface) and solvent-based cleaners (which can cause the acrylic to go cloudy or "craze").
Do you have wooden base options?
Yes, for a rustic or premium look.
We stock acrylic holders with solid wood bases (Light Oak or Dark Mahogany finishes). These are popular in pubs, cafes, and hotels where a standard all-plastic holder might look out of place.
Can I buy magnetic blocks?
Yes, for a luxury finish.
Our premium acrylic blocks consist of two thick panels of acrylic held together by strong magnets. You sandwich your price list or photo between them for a frameless, high-end look ideal for jewellery counters.
Do you offer bulk discounts?
Yes, we specialise in bulk supply.
We supply major restaurant chains and event organisers. Because we manufacture or import directly, we can offer significant tiered pricing discounts for orders of 50+ units.
Expert Insight:
"Choose the right material for the setting."
For busy family restaurants, flexible PVC sleeves might be safer than rigid acrylic as they won't snap if dropped. For high-end hotel lobbies, only diamond-polished acrylic or magnetic blocks will match the decor.
3. Pavement Signs & Outdoor Displays
Shop Pavement Signs Collection →What is the most stable option?
Water-fillable signs (e.g., Whirlwind).
These feature a hollow base filled with water or sand, creating a low centre of gravity. Combined with springs, they deflect wind rather than tipping over. Ideal for exposed forecourts.
Do I need planning permission?
Usually 'Deemed Consent' applies.
If placed on your own forecourt, permission is rarely needed. If placed on a public highway (pavement), check with your local council. Generally, as long as you leave 1.5m clearance for wheelchairs and remove it at night, it is permitted.
Are A-Boards waterproof?
The frame is, the poster might not be.
While we provide PVC covers, water can wick into paper posters in heavy rain. We strictly recommend using Encapsulated (Laminated) Posters or printing on waterproof synthetic paper for outdoor use.
How heavy are they to move?
Empty: 10-15kg. Full: 30kg+.
Water-base signs are heavy when filled to ensure stability. However, almost all our heavy-duty signs feature built-in wheels, allowing you to tilt and roll them in at night without lifting.
What size has the best impact?
A1 is the sweet spot.
A1 (594 x 841mm) is large enough to be read from a passing car but small enough not to obstruct the pavement. A0 is great for large forecourts but can be too bulky for high streets.
Can I use chalk markers?
Only on specific Chalkboard models.
Do not use chalk pens on the plastic covers of poster signs. Use our dedicated Outdoor Wooden Chalkboards which feature high-pressure laminate surfaces designed for liquid chalk.
4. Floor Standing Sign Holders
Shop Floor Stands Collection →What are 'Menu Stands' used for?
"Wait to be Seated" and directional signage.
Freestanding info boards are crucial for hospitality entrances to greet customers or display menus. In corporate settings, they act as directional wayfinding for events.
Can I rotate the frame?
Yes, on most models.
Our premium info boards feature a rear mechanism allowing you to rotate the frame from Portrait to Landscape in seconds, giving you flexibility for different poster designs.
Are they stable in busy areas?
Yes, if you choose a weighted base.
Look for models with a heavy steel or water-fillable base if placing in a high-traffic lobby. Lighter Economy models are better suited to quiet corners or temporary displays.
Is the height adjustable?
On telescopic models, yes.
We stock telescopic stands that can be adjusted from waist height (for reading menus) to eye level (for directional arrows). Check the product specs for "Adjustable Height".
Can I use them outdoors?
Only specifically rated 'Outdoor' stands.
Standard chrome stands will rust outdoors. You must choose a Weatherproof Menu Stand which features rubber seals, a heavy base for wind resistance, and rust-proof materials.
What sizes are available?
A4 and A3 are standard.
A4 is perfect for menus or simple instructions ("Queue Here"). A3 allows for larger font sizes and is better for complex information like conference schedules.
5. Leaflet & Brochure Holders
Shop Leaflet Holders Collection →What sizes do you stock?
We cover all standard paper sizes.
- A4: Standard magazine/brochure size.
- A5: Half an A4 sheet (popular for flyers).
- DL (1/3 A4): The standard "trifold" leaflet size found in tourist information centres.
Injection Moulded vs. Fabricated Acrylic?
Injection Moulded (Styrene): A cost-effective, single-piece unit. Lightweight and practical for bulk distribution.
Fabricated Acrylic: Made from thicker sheets of acrylic, cut and bonded. Heavier, more premium feel, and higher transparency. Best for reception desks.
Do you have floor-standing brochure stands?
Yes, specifically our "Zig-Zag" stands.
These collapsible stands are favorites for exhibitions. They hold multiple brochures (typically 6 x A4) and fold down into a metal carry case for easy transport.
Can I wall mount them?
Yes, look for 'Wall Mounted' models.
We sell single-pocket wall holders (with screw holes or for slatwall) and multi-tier brochure bays for reception areas. Always check the fixing method (screws vs adhesive).
Do you sell outdoor leaflet holders?
Yes, with lids.
Our outdoor brochure holders feature a self-closing lid to stop rain from ruining your flyers. These are popular for estate agents and after-hours shop fronts.
Can I brand the holder?
Yes, on bulk orders.
We can screen print logos onto acrylic holders for large orders (typically 50+). Contact our sales team for a custom quote.
6. Materials, Care & Technical Specs
What is Anodised Aluminium?
A corrosion-resistant finish.
Most of our snap frames and A-boards use Anodised Aluminium. This electrochemical process thickens the natural oxide layer, making the metal harder, more durable, and resistant to rust—perfect for the UK climate.
How do I remove scratches from acrylic?
Use a specialised acrylic polish.
Minor surface scratches can often be buffed out using a soft cloth and a plastic polish (like Xerapol). Deep scratches are harder to remove, so care should be taken during cleaning.
Are the products recyclable?
Mostly, yes.
Acrylic (PMMA) and Styrene are recyclable plastics. Aluminium frames and steel bases are 100% recyclable metal. We encourage responsible disposal at the end of the product's life.
How do I treat outdoor wooden chalkboards?
Re-stain annually.
While our outdoor wood frames are treated, UV light and rain will eventually degrade the finish. We recommend applying a coat of exterior wood stain or varnish once a year to keep them looking fresh and water-resistant.
What tools do I need for assembly?
Very few.
Snap frames require a drill/screwdriver for wall mounting. A-Boards come pre-assembled. Pavement signs may need a spanner (usually provided) to attach the base. We aim for tool-free assembly where possible.
Can I buy spare parts?
Yes, for key components.
We stock spare PVC covers, replacement water-base caps, and spare wheels for pavement signs. Contact our UK support team if you need a specific part.
