The Displaysense AG1520 is a clothes rail cover, 1600mm high by 1220mm wide by 510mm deep, with a transparent plastic construction. It is delivered free to UK Mainland.
A short rail rarely gets the best spot in a building. It goes in an alcove, behind the counter, or in the corner of a stockroom where dust falls on everything. The AG1520 covers that rail and keeps the clothes clean. It fits a rail four foot wide and five foot high. The clothes sit inside heavy duty clear PVC, so dust, dirt and damp stay on the outside. Nothing is hidden, because the cover is see-through. A rail can still be read and picked from with the front shut. Zips run from the top of the cover down to the bottom, so the whole front opens in one pull, and shuts the same way. The cover is light, so one person can fit it. Only Displaysense sells it, so no other shop stocks the same thing. Best suited for boutiques, exhibition stands and NHS or hospitality store rooms where clothing has to stay clean but still be easy to see.
| Boutiques and Independent Retail | Floor space is tight, so a short rail often stands in a window return or beside the counter. It is on show all day. Covering it overnight keeps the stock clean. Nothing has to come off display, and the rail does not need wheeling out of the way first. |
| Exhibition Stands and Trade Shows | Halls are dusty places, and the vans that stock arrives in are dustier still. The cover goes on for the journey, and again at the overnight close. It comes off for the show with the clothes ready to hang, rather than ready for a steam first. |
| NHS and Healthcare Storage | Clean uniforms and gowns have to stay clean between issue points. A sealed cover keeps airborne dust off the fabric. Staff count what is left through the clear front, without opening the rail up or breaking the seal on the rest of it. |
| Hotels and Hospitality Store Rooms | Spare linens, staff uniforms and event wear live on rails in rooms with a lot of coming and going. A covered rail means a set pulled out at short notice looks right straight away. Nothing needs pressing before it goes on. |
| Council and Public Sector Stores | Ceremonial robes, high visibility kit and seasonal uniforms can sit untouched for months on end. One zipped cover protects a whole rail through all of it. The clear front shows what is there, so nothing needs opening just to check. |
| Home Wardrobes and Spare Rooms | A four foot rail on a landing or in a spare room takes the overflow from the wardrobe. Zipped inside clear PVC, that overflow stays tidy and free of dust. The clothes stay in sight too, instead of being shut away and then forgotten. |
The same cover is cut for wider rails too, including a 5ft clothes rail cover and a 6ft version, both in the same heavy duty PVC, zipped the same way. Measure across the rail before ordering, because a cover cut wider will hang loose at the ends and let dust straight back in.

Made to fit a 4ft clothes rail. Protects hanging clothing from dust, moisture and odours while keeping every garment visible. Reusable and light enough for one person to fit. Short rails end up in awkward corners. Behind a till, at the end of a stockroom, beside a door that opens all day. Air moves through those spaces and carries fine dust with it. The dust settles on whatever faces upward, which on a rail means shoulders and collars. A cover stops it reaching the cloth at all. Whatever drifts about the room lands on the PVC instead, and a wet cloth takes it straight off again. Without a cover, the same job means brushing or steaming, and that has to be done to every garment hanging there before any of them go back out on display. On a rail of forty pieces it is most of a morning gone.
Smells travel the same way dust does. Fabric hanging in still air slowly takes on the smell of the room around it. That is why clothes pulled from a cold store or a cupboard nobody opens can smell stale when nothing is actually wrong with them. Sealing the rail keeps that air off the cloth. The same barrier holds damp back, which counts for most in unheated rooms. Moisture there moves in and out of fabric as the temperature rises and falls between day and night, and a season of that leaves clothes limp and musty. Zipped inside a cover, the same clothes come out in the state they went in.
Two zips run down the front, and how easily they open decides whether a cover gets used at all. Anything that has to be dragged up over a rail of hangers gets left off after the second or third time somebody is in a hurry. A zip takes a moment to open and another to close. The cover never leaves the rail while that happens. On a rail opened several times a day, that is the difference between a cover doing its job and a cover folded on a shelf. The zips also close the front along its whole height, which a sheet thrown over the top never manages at the corners.
One person handles this cover on their own. It weighs very little, so lifting it over a four foot rail takes no real effort, and there are no fixings, poles or clips to work out first. Taking it off is the same job backwards. Folded down it takes up almost no space, so a spare rides in a van to an event or sits on a stockroom shelf until the next season needs it. On and off as often as the rail is used, year after year, without the seams giving way. Nothing about the routine changes whether the rail is in a shop, a store room or a spare bedroom.
Where a four foot rail carries full length coats or evening dresses, the 4ft x 7ft clear clothes rail cover holds that same four foot span while running much further down, so hems finish inside the cover rather than below it collecting dust.

A cover protects what hangs on the rail, but the rail itself and the way clothing is arranged on it decide how the display reads to a customer. Height, spacing, finish and the order garments hang in all pull their weight. These four Displaysense guides between them cover choosing a rail, the finishes worth looking at now, and displaying clothing well in a retail setting.
