  <p>Printing onto a fabric counter works nothing like printing onto paper or board. The CT800SQ graphic is produced by dye-sublimation, a process in which heat turns the solid inks into a gas that soaks into and bonds with the polyester fibres. The colour ends up sitting inside the cloth rather than on its surface, which is what lets the fabric be washed, folded and re-fitted time and again without the print flaking, fading or dulling. That embedded colour also keeps the finish matte, so bright exhibition lighting is absorbed instead of bouncing back as glare.</p>

  <p>Keeping that large graphic drum-tight is the work of the silicone edge graphic, or SEG, system. A flexible silicone welt is sewn right around the perimeter of the print, and it feeds into a channel machined along the inside of the frame. Once the welt is seated the panel sits under gentle, even tension across its whole area, producing a flat, seam-free wall of branding that no popper, clip or strip of tape could hold as cleanly. To change the artwork you simply draw the welt back out of the channel.</p>
