Well made locking poster case
"The locking poster cases were well made and arrived fast"
Same lock and key security across every paper size and colour.
The Displaysense SFLA3B is a wall-mounted lockable snap frame, 367mm wide by 490mm high by 30mm deep, with satin black anodised. It is delivered free to UK Mainland.
Most businesses have a patch of wall by the front door doing nothing, while the opening hours, the price list or the safety notice that ought to live there is taped to the inside of the glass and curling at the corners. The SFLA3B gives that message a permanent home outside. A hinged door locks shut on a key, rubber gaskets run right round the inside of that door, and drainage carries off the water that a British winter throws at a wall, so an A3 sheet stays flat and readable rather than blotched and peeling. Across the front sits a clear PET screen, UV-stabilised and treated to cut glare, which takes the knocks that any display at pavement level collects. Satin black anodising finishes the aluminium in a hard, even surface that will not flake off a wall in the rain, and the whole unit arrives built with its fixings, so one person can mark, drill and hang the case in a morning. Best suited for salons, cafes and GP surgeries where a notice has to stay outside in all weathers and stay exactly as it was put up.
| Salons, Barbershops and Beauty Studios | Treatment pricing and walk-in availability sit outside the window where someone deciding on the pavement can read them. A locked door means an overnight price list is still the right price list when the shutters go up in the morning. |
| GP Surgeries, Dental and NHS Sites | Clinic hours, vaccination dates and safety notices carry weight only if nobody can alter them. Sealed against rain and shut on a key, a wall case by an entrance holds that information steady between staffed hours and over a bank holiday. |
| Cafes, Restaurants and Takeaways | Swapping a daily board for a printed sheet under a locked screen takes the chalk and the guesswork out of a menu. Specials, a QR ordering link and opening times stay legible through drizzle and go up dry the next morning. |
| Schools, Nurseries and Community Hubs | Term dates, safeguarding contacts and open evening notices go on a gate or an entrance wall that parents pass twice a day. Nothing can be lifted out over a weekend, and the sheet inside comes through half term unmarked. |
| Pubs, Bars and Leisure Venues | Doorways take contact after dark that a taped-up sheet never survives. Event listings and entry conditions sit behind an impact-resistant screen instead, where a knock from a passing crowd leaves the notice underneath untouched. |
| Independent Retail and Boutiques | Where a shopfront is narrow, a compact case slots onto a pillar or the strip beside the door without crowding glass that is already working. New arrivals and sale notices then read as part of the frontage rather than stuck to it. |
The A3 lockable poster case in satin silver is the same build with a brushed aluminium finish, which sits better against lighter render, glazed frontages and institutional buildings where black reads too heavy. Lock, gaskets and PET screen are identical.

When wind drives rain sideways at a shopfront, water does not simply land on the front of a wall-mounted case and run off the bottom. It is pushed at the joint between door and frame from every angle, and on a still, cold morning condensation forms on the inside of the screen instead. Two things answer that here. Rubber gaskets run the whole way round the inside face of the hinged door, closing the gap where the two halves meet, and drainage carries off anything that does find its way in rather than leaving it to sit in the bottom of the frame.
Changing a poster begins by turning the key, at which point the whole front swings out on its hinge and a metal safety arm catches the door and holds it open, which turns the job into a one-person one. Both hands are then free to line the A3 sheet against the back panel and press it under the internal edge clips, which grip the paper along its borders so it cannot slide down behind the screen over the following weeks. Swing the door to, turn the key, and the case has never left the wall. A shop can refresh a window offer before opening and a surgery can post a new clinic list on the way past, without a ladder, a screwdriver or a second person to steady anything.
PET is the clear plastic used for drinks bottles, and the sheet across the front of this case is a thicker, UV-stabilised grade of the same material. Stabilising it against ultraviolet matters outdoors because untreated clear plastics yellow and go cloudy after a year or two of direct sun. Thickness handles the other problem, which is the steady contact a display at pavement level takes from bags, umbrellas and elbows, and PET flexes under a knock rather than splitting. An anti-glare treatment on the surface then scatters low winter sun and shop lighting, so the sheet underneath stays readable to somebody approaching at an angle.
Anodising works differently from paint or powder coating. Rather than laying colour on top of the aluminium, the process converts the outer skin of the metal into a hard oxide layer that the colour sits inside, so there is no film that can lift, chip or peel away from an exposed corner after a few winters. Fixings come supplied and the case arrives fully built, which means fitting is marking the wall, drilling, plugging and hanging, with no assembly of the unit itself and no return visit to tighten anything up.
The A2 lockable poster case in satin black steps the same sealed, locking build up a size for wider frontages, and A1 and A0 follow above it. Every format shares the key lock, the gaskets and the PET screen, so a run of them across a site matches.

A locked case protects the sheet inside, but the position on the wall and the wording on the page decide whether anybody stops long enough to read it. Height, sight lines, competing glass and the message itself all pull in the same direction. The Displaysense guides below cover choosing a spot for a poster, keeping outdoor signs legible through a British winter, and turning a plain frontage into something passers-by actually act on.
