The DHC1004 is the compact, portable cabinet in the lit counter range, light enough to move between a shop and a show. Glass on every side opens the display to a clear view from the front and both ends, while eight LED spotlights pick out the detail on watches, jewellery or small tech. Lockable sliding doors keep valuables secure as staff reach them from the rear, and the slim silver aluminium frame keeps the look sharp on a busy counter. At its lighter weight it lifts and repositions far more easily than a full-size counter, and packs down to travel to a show. It is our own in-house design, sold only through Displaysense. Best suited to jewellers, exhibition stands and pop-up retail where a lit, secure display has to stay compact and travel well.

A glass counter cabinet earns its place by being seen into from every side, and this one is glazed on the front, both ends and the top so a display reads from wherever a customer stands. It sits at counter height as a freestanding unit rather than a case placed on a surface, with the stock raised into the sightline and a silver aluminium frame holding the glass square. What marks this model out in the range is not the glazing, which it shares with its siblings, but the size and weight, and that is where the rest of its design is aimed.
Size and weight are what make it the travelling member of the range. At counter height on a compact footprint it takes far less of a counter or a stand table than a wide unit, and at its low weight one person can lift, carry and reposition it or load it for a show without a team or a trolley.
