Description
The wall-mounted format is what makes this cabinet different from every freestanding option in the range. A freestanding cabinet at 1000mm wide occupies roughly 0.4 square metres of floor. This cabinet occupies zero. It mounts directly to the wall and projects just 250mm into the room, less than the depth of a standard bookshelf. In a school corridor where circulation space is regulated, a gallery where the floor plan is fixed by architectural constraints, a retail floor where every square metre generates revenue, or a corporate reception where furniture and foot traffic already occupy the floor, the wall-mounted format eliminates the compromise. The silver aluminium frame reflects ambient light and absorbs into pale, neutral and clinical surroundings rather than dominating the wall.
Six integrated 6400K daylight LED spotlights illuminate the full 1000mm width and both shelf levels. The 6400K colour temperature is the same specification used across the freestanding DTS range: neutral, accurate rendering with no warm cast. The silver frame and daylight LEDs together create the neutral illumination that galleries, jewellery display and colour-critical retail require. Items display under true-colour lighting that shows their actual quality rather than the warm-shifted approximation that lower-kelvin lighting produces. This matters for trophies with metallic finishes, branded merchandise with specific colour standards and any display where the lighting directly affects the viewer's perception.
The two tempered glass shelves adjust independently to suit the height of the items on display. Trophies, awards, product samples, artefacts, branded objects and collectables of different sizes can all be accommodated by setting each shelf at the right height. Remove a shelf entirely for taller items that need the full interior height. The lockable hinged double doors open to the full 1000mm width for completely unobstructed access when loading or rearranging, then lock to secure contents. Keys are supplied as standard.
Fire tested to BS 5852:2006 Section 12 across the complete assembled cabinet. The certificate is downloadable immediately for procurement, facilities and compliance teams. "This is good product with a great appearance after construction. The doors are fiddly to put on, but neat once done with a sturdy attachment to the wall. It will stand away from wall at top, but touch at bottom so may need a stopper or buffer at bottom to make it level. However we have put the flex that goes up to the usb attachment to the lights here and it levels it up."

Now that the cabinet is
"Now that the cabinet is on the wall it looks great but there are issues in assembling this. The main one is that the latch/lock does not line up with the channel that the glass doors are on. The result is that, for it to lock the glass doors are angled backwards instead of being parallel with the edge of the cabinet. We made a magnetic latch instead but this is not something that everyone can do. The original cabinet was damaged and the part was replaced remarkably quickly by Displaysense and were very supportive. The cabinet looks great on the wall so ended well,"

"Was surprised that the wood was so pale when it was supposed to be oak and looks much darker on the photo. Went together fairly easily had a small problem with the glass shelves but had a conversation with staff member who was excellent and sorted it out very quickly. Havnt put lights up as didn’t want any cables showing but looks fine without."
