The Displaysense RSB1005BK is a retail display stand, with rust-resistant powder-coated steel. It is delivered free to UK Mainland.
Every stockroom, processing area and retail floor has the same problem: too much stock, not enough visible, not enough accessible. This extra wide 5-tier wire stacking basket unit solves it vertically. Five open wire baskets stack without tools, creating 1,530mm of tiered storage across a 1,000mm width. Every item is visible at a glance. Every basket is reachable without moving the one above. The baskets angle forward for browse-and-grab access. Collapsible for flat storage. Detachable castors for mobile or static use. Rust-resistant powder-coated steel for daily commercial environments. Displaysense, direct from the manufacturer.
1,530mm H x 1,000mm W x 430mm D. Weight 20kg. Five stacking wire baskets (290mm basket height, 205mm lip height). Rust-resistant black powder-coated steel. Detachable castors included. Collapsible for flat storage. Tool-free stacking assembly. Free UK mainland delivery.
| Retail Clearance, Seasonal, Impulse | Discount items, seasonal merchandise and impulse-buy stock displayed in forward-angled baskets at browsing height. The extra wide format holds more SKUs per tier than standard baskets. Customers browse and grab without staff assistance. Wheel the unit to a new position when the promotional cycle changes. |
| NHS, Healthcare, Clinical Stores | PPE, consumables, hygiene supplies and clinical materials stored with full visibility in open wire baskets. Stock levels are obvious at a glance. The rust-resistant finish handles regular cleaning. The detachable castors allow the unit to move between wards, departments and supply corridors. |
| Schools, Education, Supplies | Learning materials, stationery, art supplies and catering stock sorted by category across five tiers. The 1,000mm width accommodates A4 and A3 paper packs flat. The collapsible design suits schools that redeploy storage between terms or events. |
| Hotel Housekeeping, Hospitality | Cleaning supplies, toiletries, linen packs and guest amenities sorted across five tiers in a tight utility room. The mobile castors let housekeeping staff wheel the unit along service corridors. The open wire keeps every item visible for quick picks during room turnovers. |
| Charity Shops, Donation Processing | Incoming donations sorted by category, size or condition across five open baskets. The forward-angled design lets volunteers scan contents quickly. The extra wide format handles the volume of a busy donation day without overflowing. |
| Warehouses, E-Commerce, Fulfilment | Pick-and-pack stations, order staging areas and returns processing zones where items need to be visible, accessible and sortable. Five tiers at 1,000mm wide provide structured sorting without the closed-box problem of shelving that hides stock behind labels. |
For a more compact basket unit at 600mm wide, the 600mm 5-tier stacking basket provides the same 5-tier format in a narrower footprint. For a single-tier open bin, the CDB55BK collapsible dump bin provides wide, open-top access for grab-and-go retail.

Extra Wide 5-Tier Black Wire Stacking Basket Unit. 1530mm H x 1000mm W x 430mm D. 20kg. Five stacking baskets (290mm basket height, 205mm lip). Rust-resistant black powder-coated steel. Detachable castors. Collapsible. Tool-free. Retail, NHS, schools, hotels, charity shops, warehouses. Displaysense, direct from manufacturer. Also available at 600mm width.
This is the widest basket unit in the range. Each tier runs 1000mm across, five of them stack up on one patch of floor, and four castors come fitted so a full load rolls out to wherever the offer needs to be. Two of those castors lock, which holds the frame still through a trading day. When the promotion ends the baskets unstack and the frame folds flat, so the whole thing stores against a stockroom wall instead of taking up trading space through the quiet months. A shop changing its offer every fortnight gets the unit out and away again without losing a corner of the stockroom to it permanently.
Closed shelving hides its own stock. Somebody has to open a lid, pull a drawer or read a label to find out what is left, and on a busy day nobody does. Every side of these baskets is open wire, so a nurse walking a supply corridor sees the PPE running low without breaking step, and a volunteer sorting donations knows which category is filling up from across the room. Air moves through the tiers as well, which matters for packaged food and cleaning stock sitting in a warm store between deliveries. Nothing has to be labelled up either, because the label is the stock itself, sitting there in plain view.
Stock at the back of a flat basket may as well not be there. These tilt forward instead, so goods slide down to the front where hands reach first and eyes land first. The lip across the front is deep enough to hold everything in and shallow enough that nothing disappears behind it. On a shop floor that means the display faces itself up as customers work through it, and in a stockroom it means a picker sees the item without lifting three others out of the way to get at it. Over a busy afternoon that saves a surprising amount of time, and it keeps the display looking worked rather than raided.
Wire takes a knock better than sheet metal, which dents and stays dented. The frame here is steel with a rust-resistant powder coat, welded at every junction, so a tier loaded with cleaning bottles, canned goods or boxed supplies holds its shape rather than bowing in the middle over a season. The coating matters as much as the steel does, because a unit that moves between a cold store and a heated shop floor picks up damp every time it makes the trip. Damp of that kind finishes off untreated steel, usually starting at the welds and the cut ends before it shows anywhere else.
Retail chains, NHS trusts, school estates and charity groups rarely want a single unit. Where the same basket unit is going into stockroom after stockroom, our team can price the whole run together and phase the deliveries around your fit-out dates.

RSB1005BK is an Extra Wide 5-Tier Black Wire Stacking Basket Unit from Displaysense. Five open wire baskets stack without tools, each 1000mm wide and 290mm deep with a 205mm front lip, tilted forward so stock presents to the user. Overall size 1530mm high by 1000mm wide by 430mm deep. Weight 20kg. Rust-resistant powder-coated steel in black. Four castors supplied, two of them locking. Frame collapses flat for storage between uses. Indoor use. Used for retail clearance and seasonal lines, NHS and clinical stores, school supplies, hotel housekeeping, charity donation sorting and warehouse picking. Also available in white, and as a 600mm wide unit in black and white. Displaysense, UK display specialist based in Hertfordshire since 1978.
Full specification for the RSB1005BK, an extra wide 5-tier black wire stacking basket unit. Capacity and the tiers come first, then the basket angle, the castors and how the frame folds, before the measurements, the weight, the build and the finish. Every line notes what that detail means once the unit is loaded and standing on a floor.
| Specification | Detail | What This Means for You |
|---|---|---|
| Basket size | 1000mm wide, 290mm deep | A full metre across each tier, which takes boxed PPE, cleaning bottles, packaged food and stationery packs sitting side by side rather than piled up on top of one another. |
| Tiers | Five, stacking | Five levels of stock on a single patch of floor. Run three or four tiers instead where a ceiling is low, or where the stock on hand does not justify the full height. |
| Basket angle | Tilted forward, 205mm lip | Contents slide down to the front where people can see and reach them, and the lip holds everything in place without walling the stock off behind a face of steel. |
| Castors | Four fitted, two locking | A loaded unit rolls from the stockroom to the shop floor, then two brakes drop and it holds position on hard floors and carpet alike. |
| Folding | Collapses flat | Baskets unstack and the frame folds down, so the unit stores against a wall between promotions instead of taking floor space all year. |
| Setting up | Stacks without tools | Each basket seats onto the one below and locks there. No fixings, no allen key, and the full five tiers go up in a couple of minutes. |
| Overall size | 1530mm high x 1000mm wide x 430mm deep | Around head height on most adults, so the top tier stays within reach, and shallow enough front to back to sit tight against a wall or along an aisle. |
| Weight | 20kg | One person shifts the empty unit between rooms without help. Load the heavier stock into the lower tiers to keep the centre of gravity down where it belongs. |
| Frame | Rust-resistant powder-coated steel | Wire holds its shape under boxed supplies and canned goods, and the coating handles the damp of a cold store and a wash-down. |
| Visibility | Open wire on every side | Stock reads from the front, the sides and above without anybody opening a lid or lifting a box, and air moves freely through every tier of the unit. |
| Finish | Black | Suits dark flooring, industrial shelving and back-of-house areas, where marks show up far less than they would on a pale frame. |
| Also available | A white version and a 600mm black unit | White lifts a bright interior or a clinical room where black reads heavy. The 600mm frame fits a narrow aisle that a full metre will not clear. |

A basket unit only earns its floor if the right stock goes in it and it stands where people slow down. How a stockroom is organised behind the scenes, and how a shop floor is merchandised in front of them, decide that question together. Four Displaysense guides below cover organising the space out back, merchandising the floor in front of it, drawing footfall through the door and lifting the basket once people are inside.
