From the front the two halves read as one clean display column, because the base is faced with an opaque panel that carries no handle or gap. The base compartment is a genuine storage section, not a bottom shelf. It is fully enclosed on every side and closed by its own lock and key, entirely separate from the key that opens the display door above. Inside there is no fixed shelving, leaving the space open for reserve stock, printed literature, cleaning materials and staff belongings. Keeping the two locks apart lets one person restock the display while the stored contents stay secured, or gives staff separate access without sharing a key.
Inside the showcase, the shelves hang from a continuous rod track rather than sitting on fixed brackets or preset holes. Each tempered glass shelf clips onto the track and slides to any height by hand, so the display is set to the stock rather than the stock squeezed to fit, and all three lift out when a single tall column suits the piece better. Lighting is built in as nine daylight-toned LEDs, one overhead and eight down the sides, throwing an even wash across the whole height with no shadowed corner.
