Light One Piece on a Lockable Display Plinth

A display case does one job. A plinth with a cabinet underneath does three. The DP160W puts a single piece behind toughened glass at chest height with two LED spots trained on it, then hides a locking drawer and a shelved cupboard away in the base below. That is where the spare stock goes, the price tickets, the till roll, the staff bag and everything else that usually ends up on the floor beside a display. The drawer locks and the cupboard door locks separately, so a member of staff opens one without opening the other, and neither one reads as storage from out on the shop floor. Both LED spots arrive fitted within the glass section and run off a mains lead through a rear port, so there is nothing to mount or wire when the plinth goes into position. White wood bounces the light around the glass and suits a shop window, a gallery corner or a reception desk. At 1600mm the case sits at roughly chest to eye level, which is where somebody walking past actually looks. Best suited for jewellers, galleries and showrooms where one item carries the display and the clutter has to go somewhere.

Why an LED Display Case Needs Storage Beneath

Two locks, two separate jobs: The hidden drawer and the lower cupboard each take their own key. Small items stay to hand for whoever is working the floor while the boxed stock underneath stays shut away, which is not something a plain display case can offer out on an open shop floor with no stockroom anywhere close by.
LEDs arrive fitted and wired: Two spots sit inside the glass section already in place, so nothing has to be mount, wire or position on delivery day. The flex leaves through a cut opening at the rear, dropping away behind the cabinet instead of crossing any part of the floor a customer walks over.
