Stand a Lit Display Plinth Beside a Counter
Most rooms already have something in them. A counter, a till point, a reception desk, a run of shelving, and a display has to work alongside all of it rather than pretending the space is empty. The DP150W stands 1500mm, which puts the glass at the height somebody is already looking when they are stood at a counter waiting to be served. It does not tower over a desk or disappear behind a fixture. Inside the glazed section, two LED spots pick out a single piece against a gloss white background. Below that sits a locking drawer for the things staff reach for through the day, and a shelved cupboard behind a locking door for the boxes and the cleaning cloths. Neither of them reads as storage from out on the shop floor, so the front of the plinth gives nothing away. The lighting arrives already fitted, so nothing needs wiring on the day it goes in. Best suited for jewellers, receptions and showrooms where a plinth needs to sit alongside a counter, rather than taking over a whole room of its own.
Why a Lockable Display Case Beats an Open Shelf
- Counter height, not tower height: At 1500mm the glass lands where a customer is already looking while they wait to be served, rather than above their eyeline or below a desk edge. That makes it a plinth that joins an existing arrangement instead of rearranging the room around itself.
